Enterprise
Enterprise is $1,000 a month per site. Ivy Link pays for that site's agent work and reports, and an SEO expert checks ideas first.
What you get
Enterprise is a plan for one site. It costs $1,000 a month for that site. Each site you put on Enterprise has its own monthly payment.
On an Enterprise site:
- Ivy Link pays for the agent work and reports. Nothing on that site uses your credits. Your credits stay for your other sites.
- Agents run on Canopy, the most thorough plan. You can't change the plan while Enterprise lasts. You can only turn agents on or off.
- An SEO expert checks ideas. A person at Ivy Link checks each idea your agents suggest before it reaches you.
- Your SEO expert checks your report before it opens for you.
- Cancel any time.
You can mix sites on one account. One site can be on Enterprise while your other sites run on credits. See Your sites.
Enterprise doesn't guarantee rankings. It gives the site the most agent work and a person who checks it.
What the SEO expert checks
Ideas from your agents, and pages Ivy Link's research finds to build, go to your SEO expert first. The expert can reword an idea, publish it to you, or drop it. An idea the expert drops never reaches you. While an idea is with the expert:
- It doesn't show on Approvals, Home, Decisions or the site map.
- Your agents don't start it, even if new ideas are set to start without asking.
- It never expires while it waits.
Your own ideas, ideas the expert writes, and the actions from your report don't wait. They reach you as usual.
Your report waits for the expert too. While it does, the Report page shows Almost ready. It opens once the expert releases it.
Ways to start
| How | Where | Best when |
|---|---|---|
| Sign up straight to Enterprise | /pricing, then Start Enterprise | You don't have an Ivy Link account yet |
| Start it on a site you already have | Settings > Enterprise > Start Enterprise | You already use Ivy Link |
| Ask first | Settings > Enterprise > Talk to us | You have questions before you pay |
Sign up straight to Enterprise
- On /pricing, find the Enterprise card (Per-site plan, $1,000 a month, per site) and click Start Enterprise. The card shows a Recommended badge when the site size you set on the pricing page is too big for Canopy to cover the whole site within 30 days.
- On the signup page, enter your Work email and your Website.
- Click Continue to payment - $1,000 a month. You pay $1,000 today on Stripe, then monthly.
- After you pay, you may see Confirming your payment for a few seconds. Then you land in Ivy Link, signed in, with Enterprise started on that site.
The signup page shows three steps: Create your account, Enterprise starts on your site, Your SEO expert steps in. It also shows the 30-day full refund line. Under the terms, that covers your first payment, once per customer, and closes the account. See Cancel and refunds.
If something gets in the way:
- You close Stripe before paying. You go back to signup with "Checkout closed before payment, so you haven’t been charged."
- Your email already has an account. You see "You already have an Ivy Link account with this email. Sign in at app.ivyl.ink and switch a site to Enterprise from Settings." Follow the steps in the next section.
- Your bank asks for an extra check. Enterprise starts once the payment clears: the next time you open onboarding, or within a day.
- You close the tab after paying. Enterprise still starts within a day.
Start Enterprise on a site you already have
- Pick the site from the Site menu in the left navigation.
- Open Settings and scroll to Enterprise.
- Click Start Enterprise and pay $1,000 in Stripe Checkout.
- You return to Settings. You see "Enterprise has started for this site. Your agents now run on Canopy and Ivy Link pays for their work."
- If your agents were off, click Turn agents on under Agents. Starting Enterprise keeps your agents on or off, as they were.
If Stripe hasn't confirmed the payment yet, you see "Confirming your payment with Stripe… This page refreshes on its own, and Enterprise starts the moment Stripe confirms it." Wait on the page.
Other messages you might see:
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| "Checkout canceled. Nothing was charged." | You left Stripe before paying. |
| "Enterprise can’t be bought online right now. Tell us about your site below and we’ll set it up with you." | Online checkout isn't available for your account. Use Talk to us. |
| "Your payment went through, but Enterprise didn’t start. We’ve cancelled the subscription and been told, and we’ll refund you by email." | Something went wrong after payment. We refund you. |
| "That checkout couldn’t be confirmed. If you were charged, email us and we’ll sort it out." | Email hello@ivyl.ink. |
If you pay twice for a site that's already on Enterprise, Ivy Link cancels the second payment and refunds it.
When Enterprise starts, you get an email ("Enterprise has started") and a note from your SEO expert in the agent feed.
Ask first
- Open Settings and scroll to Enterprise.
- In the box under Questions first? Tell us about your site., write your goals, your site and any questions. You have up to 2,000 characters.
- Click Talk to us.
You see "Thanks. We have your request and will email you within one business day." The card shows a Requested pill. Asking twice still counts as one request.
While you wait, you can still click Start Enterprise ("Or start now: Enterprise begins the moment you pay."). If online checkout isn't available, the box reads Tell us about your site and we’ll set it up with you. and only Talk to us shows.
The Enterprise card in Settings
The Enterprise section on Settings changes with the site's state.
| State | Pill | What you see | What you can do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Not on Enterprise | none | "$1,000 a month for this site…" | Start Enterprise, Talk to us |
| Asked first | Requested | "We have your request and will email you within one business day." | Wait, or Start Enterprise if online checkout is available |
| On Enterprise | Active | Price: $1,000 a month, Billing: Renews (date), Started: (date) | Cancel Enterprise |
| Cancelling | Active | Billing: Ends (date) | Keep Enterprise |
| Payment failed | Payment due | A red notice about your last payment | Update card |
| Set up with Ivy Link | Active | Billing: Arranged with Ivy Link | Email hello@ivyl.ink to change it |
Billing can also read Renews monthly when no renewal date is shown yet.
Cancel Enterprise
- On the Enterprise site, open Settings and scroll to Enterprise.
- Click Cancel Enterprise. Stripe opens. Follow its steps.
- Back in Settings you see "Enterprise is cancelled. Its end date is below." Billing shows Ends and the date.
Enterprise keeps running until the end date. The card reminds you: "When it ends, your agents switch off and go back to your earlier plan, paid from your credits once you turn them on."
Changed your mind before the end date? Click Keep Enterprise. Stripe opens, and you renew the plan there.
When Enterprise ends
When Enterprise ends, because you cancelled, a payment wasn't made, or Ivy Link ended it:
- The site goes back to the plan it had before Enterprise.
- Agents turn off.
- Once you turn them on, the site's work is paid from your credits again.
- You get an email ("Enterprise has ended") and a note in the agent feed.
If Enterprise ends straight away, Settings shows "Enterprise has ended. Your agents are off and back on your earlier plan; turn them on when you’re ready." To turn them on, see Turn agents on and Budgets.
Update your card
If a payment fails, the pill reads Payment due and you see: "Your last Enterprise payment didn’t go through. Stripe will try your card again, and your agents keep running meanwhile. Update your card to keep Enterprise."
- Click Update card. Stripe opens.
- Enter a new card in Stripe.
- You return to Settings, which shows the latest state.
If Stripe doesn't open, you see "Stripe didn’t open. Try again in a minute."
Turn agents on or off
On an Enterprise site, the plan is fixed at Canopy. Under Agents in Settings you see "This site is on Enterprise: its agents run on Canopy and Ivy Link pays for their work. Ivy Link changes the plan if Enterprise ends." The plan choices are greyed out.
- Open Settings and go to Agents.
- Click Turn agents on or Turn agents off.
| You click | You see |
|---|---|
| Turn agents on | "Your agents are on. They run on Canopy and Ivy Link pays for their work." |
| Turn agents off | "Your agents are off. Nothing runs until you turn them on again." |
When agents are off, Settings reads "Agents are off. Nothing runs. Turn them on below and they run on Canopy. Reports still run." Your agents never wait for credits on this site: "Ivy Link pays for this site, so its agents never wait for credits."
Reports and skipping the report
Ivy Link pays for every report depth on an Enterprise site, whatever your balance. In onboarding, the depth step shows This site is on Enterprise instead of your balance, and each price reads Paid by Ivy Link. Large, the deepest, is picked to start. See Report depths.
Skip the report
You don't need a report to start. Your agents crawl your site, test its speed, research your keywords and learn your business on their own once you turn them on.
- In onboarding, click Skip the report. The link is at the top of every step, and the button is under the report depths.
- Fill in Your business and site goals.
- Pick Where are your customers?
- Add Competitor domains (optional), one per line, up to ten.
- Click Skip the report.
There's no plan to pick. Skipping doesn't turn your agents on. If they're off, Home shows "Report skipped. Your agents are off until you turn them on in Settings". Turn them on when you're ready. You can build a report any time from Report, and Ivy Link pays for it.
How Enterprise shows in the app
Home
The status line on Home shows Canopy (Enterprise) instead of your budget, and Paid by Ivy Link instead of your credits. There's no Change budget or Top up link.
If agents are off, you see a Turn on link, and "Agents are off, so nothing runs and nothing is spent. Turn them on".
Approvals
On Approvals:
- Ideas carry a badge: Checked by your SEO expert, or From your SEO expert when the expert wrote the idea.
- Ideas still being checked show only as a count: "Your SEO expert is checking 3 new ideas. They show up here once checked."
- If you send back an idea your agents suggested, it goes to your SEO expert first: "Sent back. Your SEO expert checks it first, then it waits here for your OK." If you move an approved one back, you see "Moved back. Your SEO expert checks it first, then it waits here for your OK."
- If you try to act on an idea still being checked: "Your SEO expert is still checking that idea. It shows up here once they have."
In the agent feed, ideas with the expert read With your SEO expert: and the expert can post notes from Your SEO expert.
Billing
Billing has an Enterprise section when a site on your account is on Enterprise or has asked for it. It reads "Ivy Link pays for the agent work and reports on each site on Enterprise, so they never use your credits."
Each row shows:
- The site.
- A pill: Active, Payment due or Requested.
- "$1,000 a month · Renews (date)", or Ends (date), Arranged with Ivy Link, Renews monthly, or "We’ll be in touch by email" for a request.
- Manage for the site you're on, which opens its Enterprise card in Settings. Switch to this site for any other site.
