Weekly reports

A saved record of each completed week: search activity, agent work and data collection. Here's what each section means and how report email works.

Each week, Ivy Link saves a report of what happened on your site: your search numbers, the work your agents did, and your data collection. The report only shows facts that were measured and stored. Anything that wasn't measured is marked as unknown, never guessed.

Finding your weekly reports

Go to app.ivyl.ink/weekly-reports. Weekly reports isn't in the sidebar. You can reach it three ways:

  • The Read weekly report button in your weekly report email.
  • The Weekly reports link on the Decisions page.
  • The address above. You may want to bookmark it.

When reports are made

A reporting week runs Monday to Sunday, in UTC. Shortly after a week ends, Ivy Link saves the report for that week.

Your site gets weekly reports once you've clicked Build my report or Skip the report during onboarding (see Build your first report). Reports stop if the site is removed or no longer active. On an older account with a monthly plan, they also stop if that plan ends or goes unpaid. Credits accounts keep getting reports, and ending Enterprise doesn't stop them.

What happens next depends on your delivery setting:

Setting What happens
After Ivy Link review (the default) Someone at Ivy Link checks the report first. It appears on your list and is emailed to you once it's released.
Automatically each week The report is released as soon as it's saved, then emailed to you.

Until a report is released, you won't see it. If your list is empty, you'll see: Your first report will appear after a completed week and Ivy Link review. That's normal for a new site.

Your first report covers the most recent completed week at the time you click Build my report or Skip the report, as long as your site was added before that week ended. If you click it in the week you signed up, that's your signup week, and the report arrives early the next Monday. Earlier weeks aren't filled in. That week can include days before you joined, so some numbers may be low or unknown.

The Weekly reports page

The page shows your site's address, the heading Weekly reports, and the line Stored search, work and collection facts for each completed week. Missing measurements stay marked as unknown.

The list of reports

Each row shows:

  • The week's dates, for example Oct 19, 2026 – Oct 25, 2026. Click it to open the report.
  • Released. Only released reports are listed.
  • A Read report button.

The list doesn't show whether the email was sent. Every released report is here, whether or not its email arrived.

The list shows your most recent 52 reports, newest first.

Email delivery

Below the list is the Email delivery section. It says: This setting controls weekly report email. Your site and data access settings are separate. See Change how reports are emailed.

Changing it never changes what your agents can do on your site or with your data.

Reading a single report

A report opens with your site's address and Weekly facts, the week's dates as the heading, and the line Measured work and stored observations. Search totals cover the dates actually observed.

It has three sections.

Search observations

This comes from your Google Search Console data. See Connect Search Console.

It starts with one sentence about how complete the search data is:

Sentence What it means What to do
Search observations cover this week. All 7 days are stored. Nothing.
Search observations cover part of this week. Some days are missing. Nothing usually. Totals cover only the stored days.
No search observations are stored for this week. Search Console is connected, but no days are stored for this week. Check your connection on Settings.
Search Console is not connected. There's no search data. Connect Search Console.
Search Console access was removed. Ivy Link lost access. Reconnect Search Console.
The latest Search Console sync needs attention. The last sync failed. Check your connection on Settings.
Search Console has not synced yet. The connection is new. Wait for the first sync.
Stored search observations need a refresh. No sync in more than 3 days. Check your connection on Settings.

Then it says Totals cover stored daily observations. Missing dates are not assumed to be zero. and shows:

  • Observed clicks: clicks on the stored days.
  • Observed impressions: impressions on the stored days.
  • Dates with stored data: how many of the week's days are stored, out of 7, such as 5 / 7.

A line below gives the Latest search observation date: the newest day of search data stored for your site. If the last days of the week weren't stored yet when the report was saved, they stay missing in this report.

If this week or the week before is missing any days, the line also says A complete comparison is not available.

Work recorded

  • Completed agent jobs: jobs your agents finished this week.
  • Unsuccessful jobs: jobs that didn't finish.
  • Days with recorded checks: how many days had a recorded site check, out of 7, such as 6 / 7.

The note A missing check is unknown. It does not count as a healthy day. means a day without a check isn't counted as fine. It just wasn't checked.

Then comes a list of pull requests for your site that were opened or merged that week, each with its title. Each one says Merged during this week. or Pull request opened during this week., with a Pull request link to GitHub. Each also says A merged pull request is not proof that a deployment is live. Merging and going live are separate steps. See Ship changes.

If there were none, you'll see No pull request activity was recorded in this week.

Data collection

For each dataset on your site, you'll see its name and:

Label What it means
Latest received run The date of the newest data run Ivy Link received by the end of the week.
Latest published run The date of the newest run that was published by the end of the week.
References in latest run How many items the newest received run covered.
Failed references Items in that run that couldn't be collected that day.
References retained in run Of the failed items, how many still show their earlier stored data.
Data through The date, or date range, the data is current to. Unknown if no date is stored.

You may also see Data dates are unknown for a number of references, when some items have no date. Each dataset ends with A received run does not establish that its data is live. Received data still has to be published to appear on your site.

If your site has no datasets, the section says No dataset is connected. See Data.

Any number that wasn't stored shows as Unknown, and any missing date shows as Not available.

Reports don't change

At the bottom you'll see Saved with the date, and This snapshot does not change when later data arrives. Reporting weeks use UTC. If late search data arrives next week, it won't change this report. Click All weekly reports to go back to the list.

A weekly report records what happened. It doesn't promise rankings, and it doesn't show that a change caused a rise or fall in your numbers.

The weekly report email

When a report is released, Ivy Link emails it to you:

  • Subject: Your weekly report for your site's address is ready
  • The week's dates and a Read weekly report button that opens the report.
  • The line If we need your input, you'll find the details in Decisions. See Decisions.

It also says See your site's search activity, recent work and data updates in one place.

The email goes to one verified sign-in address on your account. Until someone saves a delivery setting, that's the first verified address on the account. After a save, it's the address of whoever saved. If that address isn't verified, no email is sent, but the report still appears on your list.

There's no option to turn weekly report email off. The delivery setting only chooses when reports are released. For the other emails you may get, see Emails.

Change how reports are emailed

  1. Go to app.ivyl.ink/weekly-reports.
  2. Scroll to Email delivery.
  3. Under Send weekly reports, pick After Ivy Link review or Automatically each week.
  4. Check the line below it. It shows Current recipient: and the address emails go to now, then Saving uses your verified sign-in address, followed by the address you're signed in with.
  5. Click Save delivery.

You'll see Report delivery saved. Site and data permissions are unchanged.

The new setting applies to future weekly reports. It doesn't release or resend reports from earlier weeks. The form says this too: Automatic delivery applies to future weekly reports.

Saving always makes the address you're signed in with the recipient. To send reports to a different address, sign in with that address first. It has to be a verified sign-in on your account.

If you can't change it

  • Verify your sign-in email before changing report delivery. appears instead of the form. Your sign-in address isn't verified yet. Sign out, then sign in again with a sign-in link Ivy Link emails you. Opening that link verifies your address. See Sign in.
  • Current recipient: no verified address. The saved recipient's address is no longer verified, so no email goes out. Click Save delivery to make your own verified address the recipient.
